The logo is inspired by vinyls (duh) but also giving songs an extra dimension — just as the storytellers do by adding context, memories, and nostalgia every in-person event. 


Backdrop design

The thought behind the backdrop is to give Playlist Storytellers its own portable set and vibe, something iconic to the brand as the desk to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts. In particular, Danny pulled inspiration from Amex’s “Story of My Song” series.

“Lyrics” are handwritten to emphasize the humanity behind the music and storytellers, but rather than lyrics, these are the words to PLST’s mission — its manifesto and its mantra.
