9th Stronger Than Fiction Film Festival
Young documentarians showcased their final films at the 9th annual fest themed, “Nine Lives.” I combined this with the idea that “you are made of all of the experiences you’ve lived before,” and overlaid parts of the cat with nine different representations of previous “lives” and experiences. Some “lives” are literally different cats it could have been, some are more conceptual; some lives are drawn and some are photos; I wanted the lives of this cat to be as varied as all of our past lives could have been.
